This is a heavier weight brushed cotton check featuring a black and red woven pattern with a narrow yellow stripe running through just to create a little divide between the bold colours. This fabric is double sided and the heavier weight of it at 180gsm (think about a really good quality flannel shirt and you'll understand the weight I'm talking about) makes it ideal for cosy winter shirts, skirts or even light jackets. We would recommend the Tilly and The Buttons Rosa or Stevie. The brushed texture gives this fabric a very soft handle and improves it's thermal qualities- perfect for keeping you warm! This fabric will be very easy to work with, no slipping as your sewing however you may want to do a bit of pattern matching. Along the selvedge, the black checks are 5.5cm wide and the red are 4cm making this an irregular pattern. This fabric can be washed at 30 degrees and tumble dried on a low/ medium heat. Iron with steam.

This fabric has a width of 137cm.

As always we endeavour to capture the true colour of the fabric however varying screens and monitors can affect how the colour is perceived.
