This Dogtooth PolyViscose Stretch Suiting fabric has a beautiful range of colours running through the check. The main check is made up of Black, Blue and White, with Rust, Red, Green and Burgundy lines running through the print. This fabric is very on trend, and will make a beautiful blazer to throw on over your summer dresses. This fabric has a small amount of Elastane in it, giving it a little comfort stretch so perfect for making a more fitted garment. Although this fabric has some stretch in it, it feels tightly woven and you will need a pattern that is designed for wovens as the added Elastane will only provide ‘comfort stretch’. This fabric will be perfect paired with the Nina Lee Richmond Blazer and Portobello Trouser for an on trend suit. It will also work well for the Tilly and the Buttons Jessa trouser or Wardrobe by Me Men’s Chino Pants. If you are thinking of sewing fitted trousers for the first time this will be a great fabric to start with.
This fabric is 140cm wide and 330gsm. It is made up of 87% Polyester, 11% Viscose and 2% Elastane.
As always we endeavour to capture the true colour of the fabric however varying screens and monitors can affect how the colour is perceived.
