This deadstock fabric features a cheerful watercolour floral design with a green, blue, and yellow colourway on a white background. The illustration has an inky variation in the colour making it look just like a watercolour painting! It is a medium weight knit, similar to a t-shirt weight, with a heavy drape and a lot of stretch. It is soft to handle and mostly opaque but due to the white background, you would be able to slightly see dark colours through it. This fabric is suited towards dresses, tops, jumpsuits, and skirts. We recommend this fabric for the Tilly and the Buttons Lotta dress, Deer and Doe Sirocco jumpsuit, or the Tilly and the Buttons Zadie dress
This fabric is 145cm wide. It is 95% viscose and 5% elastane.
The flaw on this fabric is a smudge in the print that is continuous throughout the fabric and occurs in random places across the fabric. The smudged vary in saturation and size however, this fabric could be good for beginners who want to practice with a viscose jersey. It could also be used to toile a jersey garment before it is made in the final fabric. Examples of some of the flaws are shown in the last two images.
As always we endeavour to capture the true colour of the fabric however varying screens and monitors can affect how the colour is perceived.
